We are pleased to announce the addition of the PrecariCorps blog to our website. As a part of our efforts to create and distribute educational media on the pervasive crisis in higher education, in addition to providing financial and professional support to adjunct faculty, the PrecariBlog will allow us to share personal posts and messages with the activist community. In our first series, Managing Director Brianne Bolin catalogs the process of applying for unemployment over the summer: Filing Unemployment for #AdjunctSummer.
Along with PrecariCorps True Stories, which features 300-500 word accounts from the adjuncts who’ve lived them, the PrecariBlog highlights the experiences of adjuncts, sharing solidarity and information pertinent to life in the precariat.
